Elite College Coaching

Build a personal brand that top employers can’t resist.

You worked SO hard to get into a top university (maybe even your dream school!) only to realize that you are STILL constantly competing. Except now, the competition is tougher and the stakes are even higher.

Does this sound like you?

  • You want a top internship—think Big Tech, Wall Street, Big 4 Consulting—but those are even more competitive than top universities (Seriously. Google’s internship acceptance rate is <2%).

  • You want to make an impact on your college campus, but it feels like an uphill battle. How do you get students & faculty to buy into your vision? Besides, does your school really need another club?

  • You need work experience to get work experience, but no one will hire you…without work experience. How on earth are you supposed to show your dream company what you can do?

  • You have BIG aspirations but struggle to stand out from the crowd. You naturally stood-out from other students in high school. But now, you are literally surrounded by cream-of-the-crop competition every day.

  • You are confident in your ideas and know that you want to make a difference in the world, but you need help navigating the tricky stage of early career development. Where do you even start?

  • You know relationships are key to your success, but you still don’t have a strong professional support network. How do you get mentors in your industry? How do you strategically connect with your professors?

It turns out that getting into a prestigious university doesn’t magically make your career and life dreams come true.

College comes with new problems.

You’re in good hands! I am your solution.

My name is Monique, and I coach ambitious college students into impressive professionals that prestigious companies (and investors) can’t resist.

I was over the moon when I was admitted to Princeton University (along with 5 other Top 20 schools). But once I got to campus, I was one person in a sea of impressive students vying for the same clubs, internships, research opportunities, and professors’ attention. It was tough, but I managed to do pretty well for myself.

  • Freshman Year: Interned in New York City at the Center for Court Innovation.

  • Sophomore Year: Studied abroad in Berlin in a selective 12-student seminar (<10% acceptance rate).

  • Junior Year: Interned at Google Headquarters in Mountain View, California, on the Global Customer Experience Team in the Google Marketing Solutions department (<2% acceptance rate).

  • Senior Year: Awarded the Henry Luce Scholars Program—a prestigious national fellowship that sponsors a year of professional placement and cultural immersion in Asia for a small cohort of young American professionals from 75 nominating institutions (acceptance rate <7%).

No, I didn’t have a 4.0 GPA or anything absurdly impressive about me.

The Coach Mo Approach

Discover Your Core Values & Strengths

First, we clarify who you are and what makes you special. What are your core values? What do others see in you that you don’t see in yourself? What are your strengths, and how can we turn them into opportunities? What is your unique personality type, and how can you use it to your advantage?

Build Your Brand & Audience

The secret to achieving your long-term personal and career goals is to start working on them now. Perhaps you start a podcast, blog or newsletter, or even a business or nonprofit. Whatever you choose, consistently sharing your message online is work experience and leverage for your dream job.

Clarify your Career and Life Vision

Next, we will define your vision for your future. What do you see when you imagine your life and career 10 years from now? More importantly, why is it important to you? Once we clarify the details of your long-term personal and professional goals, we can strategically reverse-engineer the steps to get there.

Tools & Tactics for Success

In the words of Peter Drucker, “You can’t manage what you can’t measure.” We will implement tools to help you define your own metrics of success and hold yourself accountable. This includes strategies and frameworks for effective time management, goal-setting, productivity, and self-management.

Share Your Unique Story Proposition

Your story connects the dots of your roadmap. In business, the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) describes what sets one business apart from competitors. The same concept applies to life. Your story is your USP, and mastering how to express it to the right audience will set you apart from your competition.

Grow Yourself & Your Audience

Now that your guardrails are in place, Coach Mo continues to hold you accountable through your curated personal growth curriculum, weekly reflective assessments, coaching sessions and administrative assistance to your ongoing brand projects. You will build not only the skills, but also habits, for success.
